This project is the creation of a drink recipe booklet, like those found at LCBO.
Not your typical recipe book. This is outside the box of orthodoxy in that the recipes make drinks related to punctuation. Punctuation you say? But they don't have a flavour, texture or colour. Exactly, but we're given an imagination, so why not use them?
For each recipe, there is a brief definition and history of particular grammatical glyph, accompanied with a free verse poem that highlights the glyphs function, and on the opposite side there is a photograph the drink.
The graphic stylings are minimal and supportive, much like the visual flair and function of punctuation. The punches of colour come from the photography, only to give the drinks more impact.
