The Jotter is a fabricated literary magazine that not only showcases creative writing, but eclectic illustrations too.
The goal is to create a brand with accompanying stationary along with a physical and digital copy of the publication.
Definition of jotter, (noun) - a small pad or notebook used for notes or jottings. Being a literary magazine that showcases diverse ideas, thoughts and concepts, it seemed appropriate that the name relates to an item that houses such actions.
Being heavily content directed, the design complexity and aesthetic is minimal. This helps focus the reader's attention to the subject matter, rather than the "flash."
